Sky River

Sky River is a Margaret River based writer, producer, puppet and theatre maker, who draws on local environmental influences and worldwide mythology, to explore relationships between humans and the interrelated world.
With a background in Theatre Studies (Griffith University) Sky has led teams of artists to produce and tour her original puppet shows, is a dance and drama teacher and co-ordinates an arts program for adults living with disabilities.
An award winning and published performance writer, Sky holds BA Honours in Visual Arts and English (ECU) and is passionate about developing community arts projects to engage creativity and promote a shift in ecological identity.

In 2021 Regional Arts Australia awarded Sky with a NATIONAL REGIONAL ARTS FELLOWSHIP to persue experimental puppetmaking.
